truth v. evil

The idea of evil has been chasing me around recently:

WEP thinks that weak people have to find a victim to blame their problems on, and that blame becomes the lies that evil uses.

Interestingly, I know someone he’s done that to.

And I’ve known people who seemed to think that the truth was itself evil.

Even MBIT is talking about the nature of evil:

“I reckon you have to have a certain amount of evilness in you to begin with for it to be forced out by modern technology.”

bb believes that there is an independent, sentient evil that preys on weak people and makes them do evil.

I think weak people are quick to tell and believe lies, because they are afraid of the truth.

I believe that the only active evil in the world is lies and lying.

I think we are all saying the same thing.

I am a misanthrope. No one ever believes me, but this seems to prove my point.
