White Christmas

It’s a White Christmas here in the Lake District (where we are settled in for a long weekend). My first since childhood.

How wonderful.

The snow had started to melt by the time we got out to take pictures.

And I discovered the infinite beauty of a champagne breakfast (with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs).

Also wonderful.
