Independent bookstores

My timely rant yesterday which was inspired by the ’12 reason for the decline of the independent bookstore’ is the perfect segue into the Guardian‘s piece about readers’ favorite UK bookstores and a second one explaining why these bookstores are important.

Oh, and the Guardian also has a very brief biography of my favorite mystery author of all time, Dorothy L. Sayers. Not the most flattering, nor, frankly, very eloquent, I still felt I couldn’t let it go without a link…
