Guy Fawkes

My first Guy Fawkes night in the UK and boy does it put the Fourth of July to shame.

I am surrounded on all sides by the light-bursts and explosions of Firecrackers, with plenty of “star bursts” over head. Deep booms, bright bursts.

If you ever wanted to mount a revolution in England don’t try it on Guy Fawkes night. No one would even notice…

I am a misanthrope. No one ever believes me, but this seems to prove my point.
