Today we went to our local Barnes and Noble and picked up a few things:

I chose:
The Little Engine That Could, by “Watty Piper”
Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel, by Virginia Lee Burton

bb chose:
Millions of Cats, by Wanda Gag
Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak

We got home and showed off our purchases to Ee.

“You are 5 months pregnant and the first baby thing you guys have gotten are books,” she said, laughing. “Not a crib, not clothes, not bottles, books.”

I am a misanthrope. No one ever believes me, but this seems to prove my point.
